About Dr. Ashish Gupta:
Dr Ashish Gupta is a medical oncologist and hematologist practicing in Delhi. He completed his MBBS from PGIMS Rohtak . He then did his MD in Internal Medicine from UT Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Centre in Houston, TX and Brooklyn Hospital, New York where he also served as Chief Resident.
He completed his fellowship in medical oncology and haematology from Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Buffalo New York, the world’s first cancer centre. He is ABIM USA board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology and registered to practice in Delhi as well as the State of New York.
He is Chief of Medical Oncology at Unique Hospital Cancer Centre in Dwarka. He specializes in the management of solid tumors including Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Cancers, Prostate Cancer, Bladder Cancer, Head and Neck Cancers and Gynecologic Cancers. He also has expertise in hematological malignancies like Lymphomas, Multiple Myeloma and Chronic Leukemias.
He has authored numerous manuscripts in international journals, presented at international conferences and written books. Topics include Lung Cancer, Breast Cancer, Multiple Myeloma, Wisdom in Oncology. He has published in Journal of Clinical Oncology, Precision Medicine; Cancers, JNCCN, Expert Review of Anticancer Therapy and has presented at numerous international conferences including: San Antonio Breast Cancer Conference (SABCS), National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Annual Conference, American Association of Cancer Research (AACR). He is a member of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of Hematology (ASH) and American Association of Cancer Research (AACR).
He is passionate about keeping the patient first and explaining in simple language the diagnosis, treatment options and prognosis to patients. In 2022 he served as one of the four Cancer GRACE USA Patient Education Ambassadors. He has also conducted a series of interviews with leaders in oncology and authored a book ‘Pearls of Wisdom in Oncology: Key Insights, Traits, and Best Practices’. His awards include Gold Humanism Honor Society Award, Chief Resident Award, Primary Care Award.
He has an active interest in integrating mind-body medicine into practice and is a certified Yoga Therapist from s-VYASA Yoga University, Bangalore.
