- More accurate diagnosis and staging
- Coordinated treatment planning
- Better treatment outcomes
- Cost-effective care approach
- Clear communication of treatment plans

Amerix Tumor Board Review Process
Our Weekly Tumor Board Process
Every Wednesday, our multidisciplinary team gathers to review new cases and ongoing treatments. Led by US Board-Certified oncologists, each case is presented with detailed imaging, pathology reports, and patient history. This systematic approach ensures every aspect of your care is carefully considered by multiple specialists.
Beyond Traditional Care
Our tumor board doesn’t just focus on medical treatment. We consider your overall wellbeing – including pain management, nutrition, emotional support and family needs. This comprehensive approach helps us create treatment plans that consider your quality of life alongside clinical outcomes.
Advanced Cancer Technology
Patient Voice in Treatment Planning
At Amerix Cancer Hospital, we offer three types of Joint Tumor Board Discussions: diagnostic, treatment planning, and follow-up. Diagnostic discussions are held to determine the best course of action for newly diagnosed patients. Treatment planning discussions involve reviewing treatment options and developing an individualized treatment plan for each patient. Follow-up discussions are conducted to monitor the progress of a patient's treatment and make any necessary adjustments.
Joint Tumor Board Discussion is typically conducted before and during a patient's treatment journey. It is an essential aspect of our cancer care, as it ensures that every patient receives the most accurate diagnosis and the best treatment plan possible.
At Amerix Cancer Hospital, we have a world-class team of physicians who specialize in different types of cancer, ensuring that each patient receives comprehensive care. Our Joint Tumor Board Discussions are led by Dr. Ashish Gupta, a USA-Board Certified Oncologist with decades of experience in treating rare and complex cancers. Moreover, our advanced technology and state-of-the-art facilities allow us to provide the most precise and personalized care for our patients.
The duration of a joint tumor board discussion can vary depending on the complexity of the case. Our dedicated team of experts devotes as much time as necessary to ensuring that each patient receives the best care and treatment plan.
